Verified Target

"Verified Target" is an action movie about a hitwoman who learns that her organization is doing bad things. She refuses to kill her assigned target, and now she's the one being hunted.

The movie starts with a scene where a person dressed as Jesus shoots a preacher in front of a church congregation. We later find out that the shooter is a female assassin named Blake. She killed the preacher because he was harming children. The preacher was a "verified target," marked for termination by Blake's organization.

Blake is part of a team of assassins with strict rules, but she's asked to break them. A congresswoman wants her ex-husband dead, but Blake discovers that he's innocent and there's a bigger plan. She refuses to do the job, so her organization marks her as a "Verified Target" and sends other assassins to kill her.

The director, Milena Grujić, makes the movie action-packed and stylish. The characters are interesting, and the movie has a retro, almost "cold war" feel.
